Padahastasana (standing forward bend pose) :-
In Sanskrit language "pada " stands for foot while "hasta " stands for hands and while pada&hasta together means hand to foot.

Procedure -
Sthiti -tadasan
Step 1-slowly raise the hands sideways up to the shoulder level with (inhalation).
Step2-raise the hand up above the head with biceps touching the ear, palms facing forward with inhalation .
Step3-bend body forward till body comes with horizontal position, parallel to ground with exhale.
Step4-bend further to touch the knees with the forrhead, till palms can rest on the ground exhale and normal breath, final posture.
Step 5-come to back with horizontal position, parallel to ground with inhalation.
Step 6-come back with raising the hand up above the head with biceps touching the ears, palm facing forward with inhalation.
Step7-slowly down the hand sideways on the thigh with exhalation.. Relax in sthiti-tadasan.
Benefits -strengthen the abdominal organs.
Eliminate the possible bloating of abdomen.
Build spin more flexible.
Remove the extra fat from abdomen.
