Platelets rich plasma PRP

USES -In baldness, to remove wrinkles of face, also used in the very old ulcer or diabetic ulcer or any wound.

PRP-PLATELETS RICH PLASMA

Method -

Caution don't use EDTA OR CITRATE TUBE (anticoagulant tube)

Because it degrading the platelet.

Better is use the ACA(acid Citrate Dextrose Solution)

If ACA NOT available than used the

Citrate-phosphate-dextrose solution with adenine (CPDA) is an anticoagulant and preservative for storage of blood. It maintains platelet viability.

If 10ml blood than anticoagulant 0.9ml .

Shake it properly.

Than use falcon test tube and centrifuge it in digital centrifuge machine.

Also calculate centrifuge machine rotation setting by centrifuge formula.

At upper side -plasma

At bottom -RBCs

At middle buffy coat -platelets

So now question is how to separate platelets for use?

So here, if you use Needle 💉 than the platelets are degrading due to small gauze.

Iv set yellow part taken and place it or connect with syringe.

This is wide so it doesn't harm platelets. Take plasma and buffy coat and discard the rbcs.

Second centrifuge done and by this the platelets accumulated at bottom of tube.

So here if suppose the solution is 10ml so here the 7ml discard and uses only 3ml and accumulated platelets plug.

And now shake it with the syringe.

And dissolve the platelets in plasma.
